It’s my pleasure to bring over 25 years of professional experience to help people discover joy, passion, and satisfaction in their lives.

Why seek help?

We all experience normal life changes that can create possible problems. Sometimes, we also face unexpected events – a divorce, a death, a sudden illness, or unemployment – that cause a crisis. Therapy can provide support during these difficult times and teach you or your children new skills to help cope with tough situations.

Hundreds of children, teens and adults across North Fulton and Cobb counties can speak to the success of my treatment style – most of my clients are referred by past clients who have found my services helpful.

Once you are my client, I’ll never put you on a waiting list if you decide to return to therapy – either for a new problem or a tune-up.

What does a counseling session with me look like?

My style is personable, caring, and non-judgmental. I’m a good listener, and my sessions are interactive and unique to each client. My focus is to help you or your child develop their own healthy coping styles. The techniques I use in my therapy are supported by research that proves their effectiveness.

I don’t simply sit back and nod my head during our sessions. I focus on the here and now, where we use your strengths to help bring change. When we start, we set goals to guide our time. Each time we’re together, we’ll come up with suggestions or homework to help you or your child work on helpful changes until we meet again.

Depending on what’s going on and where we are in the treatment process, we’ll decide together how often to meet. I have clients who I meet with weekly, twice a month, or once every three months.

It’s my pleasure to help you or your child discover joy, passion, and satisfaction in your lives.

When do I see my clients?

I see my clients throughout the day, starting as early as 8 a.m. in the morning and ending as late as 7 p.m. in the evenings.

Who's my typical client?

What makes me unique as a psychologist is that I've been trained to help both adults and children. Because of my background, I see a wide variety of clients, ranging from children to adults. I see individuals in therapy and families.

I've helped hundreds of children, teenagers and adults across North Atlanta – including Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Cumming, Woodstock, Marietta, and Johns Creek.

I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1991 from the University of Cincinnati. During my unique training, I learned to work with both adults and children.

After completing my training, I worked as a pediatric psychologist at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and later as a health psychologist at the Cincinnati Veterans Administration Hospital. My family relocated to Atlanta in 1999, when I opened my private practice in Roswell.

I have been employed in hospitals, community mental health centers, and now have my own private practice. I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Georgia, and have over 26 years of experience working with adults, adolescents, children and families.

It’s my pleasure to bring my years of professional experience to help people discover joy, passion, and satisfaction in their lives.
