What does a counseling session with me look like?

My style is personable, caring, and non-judgmental. I’m a good listener, and my sessions are interactive and unique to each client. My focus is to help you develop healthy coping styles. The techniques I use in my therapy are supported by research that proves their effectiveness.

I don’t simply sit back and nod my head during our time. I focus on the here and now, where we use your strengths to help bring change.

We will identify what areas are causing you difficulty, and we'll set goals together to help you feel better and to improve the quality of your life.

Each time we’re together, we’ll come up with suggestions or homework to help you work on helpful changes until we meet again.
